Nicko P

NICKO P was born into a musical dream. He was inspired by the Reggae Music of Bob Marley and Justin Kalikawe, a Tanzanian artist. He started in 2000, writing original songs in Swahili and English, even though he had never played the guitar before. It was his Uncle, who saw his talent and nurtured his musical growth. The same year he started to learn how to play bass guitar. In 2008, he joined the Warriors from the East band and in 2009 he recorded his first album as a solo artist. The Album is called Muziki Hisia. October 2013 saw Nicko.P complete his second studio album called Changamka. His music can be heard on National and East African Radio stations. This album opened the door for Nicko P and now you can listen and watch his music on Youtube and National Music channels.
Nicko P is a singer/ songwriter whose love for music shines through his playing of the bass and rhythm guitars.He also adds life to his music with the djembe (African drum) and harmonica.His music is an eclectic mix of Reggae, Swahili and African Sound!
Music is his life! He believes that it can bring everyone together as one! ...
