CHRIS NJUE GIKUNDA (born December, 1991), also known as KRIS JOE, is a Kenyan rapper and an entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Meru-Kenya. He completed high school in 2010.After high school, he used to visit his elder brother at his music studio-SOMI RECORDS PRODUCTION, where he got influenced to doing music. Initially, he was just a music fan who later became an artist. In 2012, he joined University of Nairobi to study Bachelors degree in Project Management.KRIS JOE has collaborated with local artists in Meru like AMERU CREW, AKASHA THE DON, BRENDAN KOFFI, JEUSHAPHAT KIMAITA.In 2016; he collaborated with KENYAN DUAL in ACAPELLA LOVER SONG.
